Frequently Asked Questions
Here you’ll find answers to common questions about our art school, from enrollment details to class options and beyond.
What should students bring for their first class?
Students should arrive with a smile and a can-do attitude. Dress comfortably in clothes you don’t mind accidentally getting paint on, and be prepared to explore your creativity in a fun, inviting setting.
Is previous art experience required?
No, previous art experience is not required! Our classes welcome all experience levels and are designed to help everyone grow their skills in a supportive, creative environment.
How do I enroll in a session of classes?
To enroll, simply email me at info@paletteofrainbows.com or message me on Facebook.
What do I do if I’m running late?
Please just text me to let me know that you’re on your way.
Are materials included?
Yes! All materials are provided, so students do not need to bring any art supplies to class.
Can parents stay during class?
Parents are welcome to stay for a quick chat at drop-off, but classes are designed for students to participate independently. At the end of class, I will release them safely to their car, so you don’t even have to get out!
What ages are welcome in your classes?
Our classes are designed for children ages 7–13. I modify the lessons according to the student’s abilty and age to provide the most suitable and fun learning environment.
What if my child misses a class?
Please let us know in advance if your child will be absent. Due to the nature of the classes and schedule, we may be able to provide a makeup class depending on availability. Hopefully your child can attend all classes in the session, but when absences occur I will do my best to get them caught up with the project(s) during future classes if it was a 2 class project. Thank you for your understanding.
