Our Philosophy

At Palette of Rainbows, we believe in nurturing creativity within a supportive, welcoming environment that inspires students to explore and develop their unique artistic talents.

Our Art School’s Creative Environment

Our approach emphasizes personal expression, technical skill, and creative growth. We believe our students are capable of achieving great things in their art!

Meet Your Teacher

Create a cartoon-style image of a middle-aged Asian American woman with a high ponytail. She wears a black apron featuring a 'Palette of Rainbows' logo, is smiling, and stands in an inviting home environment filled with art supplies. She is holding a painter's palette and a paintbrush.

Owner, Teacher

Hi! I’m Sharon, owner and teacher at Palette of Rainbows. I graduated from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, and then obtained my teaching credentials from Cal State Northridge, and have been a certified art educator with over 20 years of experience. I’m a passionate advocate for children’s creativity and have taught students of all ages.

I have worked in multiple art studios in the San Fernando Valley and LA, taught at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and worked as a traveling art teacher at multiple schools within the Los Angeles Unified School District.

When I’m not teaching or creating, you’ll find me with my toes in the sand with a good book at the beach, tending to my jungle of houseplants, or enjoying time with my family and my cute dog, Bailey.
